The spiel of a lonesome group, from birth to death, with the mixture of sorrow and joy, as they have been called “the untouchable”. Brick by brick, this introverted caste has been made into walls, in order to imprison them in fellow groups’ eye.
This desistance situation has been practiced still now.
Rydwan Ahmed, born in 1994, currently based in Dhaka, is a photographer who studied at the Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. His work explores the lives of those abandoned and the practice of casteism in Dhaka city.
