Beginning with the End
The DrikPath building is the very last project of eminent architect Bashirul Haq. Artist Reaz Rahman’s site specificinstallation is inspired by the theme of the Special Edition of Chobi Mela, Shunno. A sphere in the back of the building made of wooden sticks placed in various heights represent an infinite form signifying the architect’s journey ending in the DrikPath project, but leading on to new activities. The transformed elements displayed on the wall are a site specific expression of architectural creation. A door is a pathway to a vision of traditional heritage creating a future.
