Hadi Uddin grew up in a small town in an atmosphere surrounded by light, studio and photography enthusiasts; it enabled him to be acquainted with photography at an early age. He later shifted to the capital Dhaka, where he completed three years Professional Programme on Photography from the Pathshala South Asian Media Institute. After working with the country’s top fashion magazine Canvas for over six years, Hadi made a shift in his work by beginning to search for his roots. In his recent works, Hadi Uddin weaves stories through his photographs. His work is inspired by mundane stories which are generally invisible to the eye.
