
Masrur Mamun has been teaching architecture for over fifteen years. He completed his Bachelors in Architecture from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2001, and his Masters from the Dessau Institute of Architecture in Germany in 2006. His design-related research with artist and designer Chandrasekhar Saha as a project of DTC, GTZ Germany, and subsequent publication Behind Products are often referenced in writings on the crafts of Bangladesh. Masrur Mamun was involved in various museum projects including Boro Sardar Bari Sonargaon, Bangabandhu Memorial Extension in Dhanmondi 32, and the Barisal Memorial for Wapda Killing Ground and Torture Cell. Collaborative experimentation with Artist Wakilur Rahman has led to design pedagogy as well as several art-curating work
