Shohrab Jahan (b. 1987) is a curator, artist, and educator. Jahan has curated community-driven, site-responsive, and publication-based projects, including the Cheragi Art Show (CAS), known as a street art show, and Book Bakery, which explores book-making as sculptural practice. His present research-led practice examines how human-centred policies shape fragile ecologies, with a current focus on the Sundarban mangrove forest, explored through moving image, installation, and facilitated workshops. Jahan studied for an MA in Artists’ Film and Moving Image at Goldsmiths, University of London, and previously completed a BA and MA in Sculpture at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Chittagong, where he has worked for over six years and now serves as an Assistant Professor.
